Devtober 6th/1st
Yesterday I discovered the #devtober challenge (https://itch.io/jam/devtober-2021) and felt the urge to join as well.
I might be five days late, but since it lasts all of the month it shouldn't be a problem.
So here is the video of the village scene level design and HUD adjustment in Dan-bi.
During the level design, I had some trouble, since it will be the starting area, the player should only be able to explore the small village, but if he jumped on the rocks he'd be able to go over them and explore the environment. Thus I tried to tweak the colliders a bit and finally managed to find a working solution.
I saw this coming, yet I received some feedback and looking at some players test the game I chose to hide the powers that weren't found yet, implementing a few simple lines of code to make them appear when the power is obtained.
